We’ve never followed the usual script—from converting a van into a home with two kids to moving to Thailand and choosing to home educate. For us, life has always been about thinking outside the box, taking risks, and chasing adventure instead of waiting for the mythical “perfect time.”

Before kids, we sold everything and moved to Thailand, where Ziggy was born. Back in England, we welcomed Chacha, started a Slumber Party business, then packed up again for what was meant to be six months in Thailand—until the world shut down, and six months became eighteen.

When we returned, we built a tiny home from an ex-police van, sold everything (again), and hit the road. With money tight, we took a chance on house-sitting, which led to starting an online business and saving for our dream—buying land and living off-grid.

Then life threw us a curveball. A year ago, our daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic kidney disease. With no permanent home and an uncertain future, we had big decisions to make.

But we’re not ones to sit on the sidelines. This past year has tested our resilience, but it’s also reminded us why we live the way we do. The adventure isn’t over—it’s just evolving.

Our journey has been anything but conventional, but we’ve learned that real growth happens outside the comfort zone. We’re here to share our experiences and prove there’s no single way to live—only the path you create for yourself.
